Didn't Benitez issue the stay of his own ruling? So it seems he might be the arbiter of what the "agreement" that led to the stay was. OTOH, can't the higher court "force" the hand of the state by issuing it's own order that with the state showing an intention to continue this burdening of a constitutional right, that the people of California be allowed to exercise this right enjoyed by the people of 41 other states?
The "politics" being what they are Becerra is pushing something that could be allowed to go on in California, or, risk the rest of the Circuit or even national level results? Or, if California chooses not to appeal, does this current ruling establish precedents, of some level, on it's own anyways. |

Got that notice while a client that happens to be a lawyer was in the office.
His reading is the ca argues the previous stay is in effect until all the paperwork is finalized/filed but he was still confused by it. I say they are throwing a hail mary as they circle the wagons planning the next step on monday OR they are just being spiteful. |

But screw them. I still mad they killed what Cabelas used to be. There is a sportsman’s to the north that still has a few pistols. Couple of Glocks and a few revolvers. Lots of bolt rifles and a few ARs. You can find bolt rifle ammo everywhere. But the pistol and .223/ 5.56 is long gone. |
