Put down the alpaca.  If that bastard is horny enough to rape a goat to death, he is a threat every time you turn your back.

Either that, or keep him caged and name him Osama.

I don't even know how this shit happens.  Im just hoping someone here will have experienced goat/alpaca love.

I think thats illegal in 49 states.

This is in Indiana.

Here's my input, and I do know a thing or two about llamas and alpacas.

- Put the goat down.
- Did your buddy have the alpaca's fighting teeth cut?
- Did he witness the attack or was there ever any prior aggression?
- Is it a gelding or full male?
- Are there females on the farm and are any of them breeding age?

What could have happened.
- Another animal attacked the goat. Dog, or coyote?
- Alpaca bit/attacked the goat. With their fighting teeth, they can do quite a bit of damage. They get removed as soon as possible because of this. I have seen more than one case of Camelids attacking another male's genitals.

OP, if your buddy need any input, let me know. I'd be glad to help out. We bred and showed llamas around Indy. If he needs, I might be able to provide local sources for info or help. Shoot me a PM if you need.

If she is still up and going she may be saved with antibiotic treatment, but will most likely be unable to breed again. The "rapest" needs to be gotten rid of too. A horny animal that is bigger that you is not an animal to have around. We had a Billy goat mount hubby one night. I could not help for laughing. I could not get near the crazy bastard. He stayed here until the market opened after humping hubby!

After looking at the pic, I have a few questions. Did no one notice this is a MALE goat? Think that might have something to do with it? Why is slaughtering for meat even on the table since it appears to be an older goat and its nuts weren't trimmed when it was younger?

I've seen a sheep recover from having maggots crawling out of its ass, that goat isn't even hurting yet. Unless its guts were fucked up. Which they probably are, because of what you said started all this.

So my buddy just called me.  He has an Alpaca farm that he started after retiring from the Army.  Apparently one of the goats he has on this farm was knocked up by an alpaca and is now in a bad spot.  He is debating on putting it down.  Any advise is appreciated.

So "the alpaca" did it, eh? Uhuh, suuuuuure...

Edit to add: Shoot the goat, buy friend a fleshlight. On second thoughts, you might want to buy him an extended warranty to go with it...

This is going to be one of those legendary threads that people on other forums will be talking about.    That or a mod is going to disappear it.

Op, does your friend have any middle eastern or Greek neighbors?

Kill the goat, because it is in pain, and isn't going to get better. Kill the alpaca, because it's obviously dangerous, if not to people, then to livestock.

I never expected to see a goats torn backside on ARFCOM.

I'm going to go outside and look for an ice sickle to stab into my eyesockets...

Kill all the animals and burn the farm...

This thread is all your fault.

Shoot the goat, shoot the alpaca, shoot this guy for asking for pics, shoot OP for delivering, and shut down GD.

That should start the healing process.

[#23]
5ml Dexamethasone or PreDef, helps with pain and swelling, and 10 ml Penicillin Procaine or Gentamycin if you can get it. 2days with the Dex and 3 days worth of Pen.  I'd say with the visible damage the goat will be back on it's feet within 24 and you won't know it had a problem in 3-4 days.

Check back when the time comes that he needs help on pulling the baby alpagoat.

I love a perfect image or animation that captures the mood just right.

And, since when has "knocked up" meant anything other than "got pregnant?"

This shit is pretty common.

Shoot the owner, for he isn't capable of keeping them separated.

you guys should see what happens when a cow miscarries and the body rots inside. You or the vet have to reach up inside and clean it out.
