You sure something didn't get a hold of it and try to eat it. Thats look bad... Poor goat. Too bad this didn't happen next month when it had health care. |

Dude, you said 'knocked up' not 'nearly raped to death'. Big difference. Any critter that is that injured ought to be put down . I had no idea that goat-rape was an issue with camelids. |

Im just going by what Im told. From what I can tell from the pic, it looks like it probably did get tore up and then an infection set in. Im suggesting that that goat be put down. |

Holy shit. Alpaca dicks must me made out of razor blades.
Send that goat to the great pasture in the sky and then go beat the alpaca to death with a bat |

Damn, I'm a farmer but never seen anything like that. I'd say put her down, but call in a vet if your buddy wants to save her (might be too late). In the future, keep the alpacas and goats on separate pastures.
Why bother with alpacas anyway? |
|
|
Need to call a vet and have a rape kit done... Judging by the picture, we shouldn't rule out that there wasn't multiple assailants. Perhaps simultaneously.... with or without paper plates.

alpaca piss me the fucking hell off. one of the stupidest looking things I've ever saw. Shoot the goat rape the alpaca with a tiller steer Johnson outboard

I know he makes a little from the fiber and from breeding (with other Alpaca). He does take them to VA events locally. |

So my buddy just called me. He has an Alpaca farm that he started after retiring from the Army. Apparently one of the goats he has on this farm was knocked up by an alpaca and is now in a bad spot. He is debating on putting it down. Any advise is appreciated. I don't think it works that way OP The hybrid "Goatpaca" is 100% possible in nature or farm, in this instance, but it will most likely be sterile and unable to zproduce an offspring with a goat or an alpaca. |

So after seeing the pics, I would put it down with a 22lr behind the ears or through the eye to prevent anymore suffering.
|
|
WTF? This happened a couple of weeks ago? Is your friend special? The animal has suffered enough.

Bravo, GD. I think I've experienced every emotion in the human handbook in just a single thread. The family is back to sleep, the tears are dry, and with any luck my sides will stop hurting in the next few minutes from the maniacal laughing.
Just wow, that's all I've got. |

I was born and raised in Queens, NYC and have never owned or seen livestock except at a petting zoo. Even I know that goat should be put down asap.
Is your friend the kind of farmer that named all his animals and hand feeds them? |
|
Kill the goat, , do NOT process the meat, not even for dog food. It's septic.

I accidentally clicked on this thread trying to get in the "Glock 41 confirmed" thread.........Mother of God

View Quote From what others have said, I'm now thinking this was a carnivore attack. Unless alpacas are incredibly well hung, I don't see that injury being the outcome of a sexual encounter. I'm sad for the goat. That's a crappy fate. |

Meh. Its a goat. They die for all the stupidest reasons, and don't die for even stupider ones.
After looking at the pic, I have a few questions. Did no one notice this is a MALE goat? Think that might have something to do with it? Why is slaughtering for meat even on the table since it appears to be an older goat and its nuts weren't trimmed when it was younger? I've seen a sheep recover from having maggots crawling out of its ass, that goat isn't even hurting yet. Unless its guts were fucked up. Which they probably are, because of what you said started all this. |

.22 through the ear hole. They have a skull like granite on the top and front. How the hell does a Goat get knocked up by an Alpaca? Alpacas are camelids IIRC. Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Put down the alpaca. If that bastard is horny enough to rape a goat to death, he is a threat every time you turn your back. Either that, or keep him caged and name him Osama. I don't even know how this shit happens. Im just hoping someone here will have experienced goat/alpaca love. I think thats illegal in 49 states. This is in Indiana. |
