| They have 4 lines to the shop, and he laid on additional staff to answer the phones over a regular Monday. If no line is open, it's supposed to go to the interwebs voicemail is what he told me. As has been reported, they have a pretty good record of calling folks back, even if it takes them some time. As soon as he texts me a status and I have another break @ work, I'll post it. |

Forgot they stuck a Hoppes cleaning kit in the box. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun. As you build these, please post pics here. I know some will get buried for a rainy day, but share the wealth. $5 lowers make good stocking stuffers. 2 of mine are already out the door.
Just talked to the folks @ the store, and they confirm they are sold out. Feel free to call them for any other reason, but they have no more Sabre Defense lowers. As in, not one left. |

I've got a kid due in the next 2-4 weeks, so we'll see if I get it done, but current plan is to finish one of these lowers out with the following.
CMMG LPK-FCG parts kit KE Arms SLT-1 trigger Ambi safety Armaspec SRS-1 captured buffer assembly (cheaper version of the JP) Impact Weapon Components flush sling mount drilled into stock, like this. 
The upper will be my 6.5 Grendel build (currently on a standard lower) 18" BHW Grendel barrel SLR bleed-off adjustable gas block Griffin Minimalist Brake - for my Form 1 can Radical 12" aluminum MOE FGS free-float rail Primary Arms 4-14x40 FFP Mil-Mil scope on PA cantilever mount Once everything is dialed in, it will be getting a rattle can MultiCam camo paint job with the Primary Arms "Multiple Terrain" stencil. |

Seriously though, where else can they be had? $129 - but available in 5 colors! Someone here awhile back came across a box or two of NOS Cav Arms. I don't remember if they were Cav Arms or a variance. He wanted to know what he could get for them. I pointed out that Sabre Defenses weren't selling @ $65, and my buddy had a lot of em, so they weren't rare. But someone here knows where there are a box or two left. I probably posted in that thread, so you've got a couple of keywords. |

Just picked up one of the 16" complete uppers with a carry handle for $236 shipped. I'll watch PSA for lower deals and pick one up before Christmas. I guess I know what my son is getting for Christmas now.
I never dreamed a complete AR-15 for well under $350 would be possible. |

Sounds like someone could keep themselves busy selling LPK's for these without the unnecessary parts. If you put together a parts kit w/ the pins, the one long roll pin, and with or without a trigger, and sell it for less than GWACS does, you could keep busy for some time. I don't know who buys their lowers, but clearly some folks do. They had an ARFCOM discount code for 5% off, I published it here but don't remember what thread it's in. GWACS could flood the market if they chose. They're not losing money on the $35 warranty. |

Looks like the front pivot pin is about 5 bumps long and the rear takedown pin is just short of 4.
