| Does anyone know, or is it documented somewhere, what length you're supposed to trim the safety detent spring to? I know that the standard spring length is far too long for the lower, due to the fact that it doesn't go into the pistol grip. I just don't know what the optimal length is. |

It's in the video on page 2? You trim it so the detent is poking out of the hole, but not too high. Lemme see which page it's on.

This is from my wedding gift batch - 3 consecutive SNs for the kids, oldest to youngest. Takedown pins pounded in, mag catches and sights installed. Gonna need new rings for the Barska, it was a gift from an ARFCOMer last year for the boy.

I was on the waitlist, and didn't think I got a call. But I just checked my phone, and sure enough I was called last night, but I missed it. Didn't notice the call until after they closed today. I will have to take my chances with getting the lowers on Monday. I hope I can get through. |

How easy/hard would it be to SBR one of these? How would the engraving work? Would affixing a metal plate suffice? My 2nd one I bought w/ a split magwell for $20 when they were selling them for $65; Richard had played w/ the laser engraver @ his old job to see what could be done. | I don't know that it will make the best pistol lower, as you can't put a pistol brace on it, and the pistol grip rake is a bit steep, but if you've got a Dremel, and $10 + shipping & transfer, you're in business. I'd be sending them an email and calling @ 10:00 AM. |

The letters will be clearer and to the proper depth. |

The last information I got from Richard: There are various ways to get blems in operation, including chopping the stock for a pistol build, ordering a buttplate from Cav Mfg or GWACS, using an A1 or A2 buttplate, buying the correct pins for $10 or using clevis pins (much cheaper), and multiple ways to fix any cracks, as SinistralRifleman noted. I've already given away 2 blems, and have 8x of my other lowers earmarked for gifts. Quoted:
