It just makes sense, if we can make it work, with CZ, Magpul, and PSA all making quality magazines. This path isn't the easiest however and will take some time to get figured out. The mag release and bolt hold-open features on the Scorpion are completely different and converting over to AR controls will take some time to get everything dialed in. So currently we have roughly 50 hours into the current model. We should have a printed prototype by the end of next week to start some testing. In this present design we have only addressed magwell dimensions, mag release, and AR controls. This first print will allow us to test AR grip fitment, trigger and selector fit and function, takedown pin fitting, and mag fit tolerances, as well as the mag release function and position. We basically just took this opportunity to design a new mag release for the Scorpion platform, then retro-fitted it into the Stribog lower. So when this is all done, you will be able to use our mag release or any other aftermarket mag release currently available for the Scorpion platform. Things that haven't yet been addressed are optimal mag angle, mag depth, last round bolt hold open, fire control group positioning, and overall appearance. Most of these will be addressed in the next round of modifications to the model, once we are able to test it. One last thing, we will not be using factory Stribog takedown pins. Instead, we will supply ILWT HK style pins with each lower. The factory takedown pin clips do not work well and are very difficult to design around. The HK style pin is a much better design, uses a more traditional clip and is actually lighter as well. Once I get the sample in and have a few days to test it I will send another update. Recently I've been feeling more confident in my SP9A1 gen 2. My gun has had the single recoil spring replaced with a lighter weight one provided by Global Ordnance. My pistol is braced with an SB Tactical TF1913. Given all the reports of ammo sensitivity, verified by personal experiences, I've just decided to always feed my Stribog 124 grain FMJ or 125 grain lead coated bullets. It chews through this type of ammo without incident. Would I be happier if my Stribog would digest EVERYTHING? Certainly. But this bullet weight and profile is what I already reload in bulk for shooting USPSA so feeding it to the Stribog is no problem. This is something I'm willing to tolerate in return for an ambidextrous firearm that fits me well, has good build quality, and is sold at a reasonable price. YMMV. |

My bog and mags have been nearly flawless(one of seven mags spit out some rounds while loading, on one occasion), but the issues others speak of are always in the back my mind when I shoot. So far, so good though. |

| Oct 19th I messaged Global Ordnance about a cracked magazine. First one in over a year. 1/7 of my Stribog mags. keep all of them loaded.Today I get home from work and have a box of 3. Just goes to show what kind of company we are dealing with. If anyone from Global reads this I thank you |

Got tired of feeling like a guinea pig in their test market and dumped it. Couldn't trust the mags, liked the gun. |
| I sent an email last week about 4 mags I have that are cracked. I got a response the next day requesting pics and that they would ship replacements at no cost. I sent pics and a shipping address. I haven’t heard anything since then but I’m out of town so don’t know if mags showed up or not. |

Have people been having "wear and tear" issues with the reciever? I thought the only issues were magazine related or not feeding some rounds and underpowered ammo? I wish they stated exactly what they are doing and why, their letter was pretty vague. Or if knows and could explain further that would be great. |

Of all the issues we've heard about, most seem to involve ammo feeding related primarily with the mags, and also a bit with the feed ramp. Very surprised to hear any issues with receiver wear or reliability issues with the bolts and blocks. Came out of nowhere. Just received a return label in my email, but no notes about what parts specifically I'm supposed to send to them other than what was mentioned in the notice they posted. |

Removed rest of post (didn't want to clutter the thread with incorrect info) I did send an e-mail reaching out for clarification. Mine has worked flawlessly so I'm reluctant to send anything back. I'd also like to know if the new locking piece is the "softer" one. I'd ideally like to be able to keep both. I'll post back once I receive a reply. |

I think the A3 upgrade/recall may be related to this issue posted here on the Facebook group page. This is the only post or mention I have seen about this issue. Photos of the receiver/rails on my NIB A3. No visible issues from the trunnion back as expected on a NIB example. I received my return label from Global so my parts will be getting shipped out today. So now I have documentation of the condition of my receiver to see of the new parts eliminate this issue. Assuming of course this is why they are replacing the bolt and locking piece.

Dang I just checked mine and have that wear spot. It's not as severe or cracked as some of the other pictures but can def see and feel the wear with my finger. Can somebody with a blowback version see if they see similar wear (might be further back from the larger carrier). Definitely need to contact Global Ordnance now. |

I am looking at a diagram on global ordinance's website and it shows 2, I have reviewed several field strip videos on you tube, with the most recent being July 2020 and all of them (and other aftermarket part install videos show 2 rods, one with spring one without. Mine has only one... |

The dual rod design is the original/older system, but it's the newer single rod design that MAC thinks is causing cases to get stuck behind the ejector. Go to 11:30 in the video you posted. I have the original dual rod design and have never had any kind of malfunction. |

With a brace. I don't really "need" it, I already have a scorpion but maybe I can flip it in a few weeks I have to do some reading and see how it compares to the cc scorpion I guess my real question is if this is an inflated price? The price of ARs has increased 1/3 to 1/2. Is $750 an increased price? |

Hey everyone, long time lurker here. I just picked up a new SP9A1 yesterday from a dealer off of gunbroker.com. One thing I'm noticing is that I have a flat trigger and not the curved one that basically everyone else has. Is this new for the next batch of Stribogs? I tried to call Global Ordinance a few times, goes to VM. I'm trying to figure out the whole posting picture thing so I can show you guys. Anyone have any details on this? Thanks.
