OFFICIAL $0 Form 1/Form 4 Experience Thread (Page 17 of 20)
| My 1/1 submission was finally approved this morning. I pinged them yesterday as it has been 60+ days and was told that the background check was held up with the FBI and there was nothing they could do about it. What's odd is I had 10 or so other submissions approved prior to that one. Also odd that it magically went through after contacting them. |

3 weeks and got a disapproved for a form screwup INCOMPLETE RPQ FORM 5320.23 (BOX 2) NEEDS TO BE TRUST NAME & ADDRESS. But this is the RPQ - the form seems pretty clear - it's adding an RP to the trust that would be me, but they seem to indicate its the trust in box 2. Anyone else bit by this, or did the examiner mess up? If this is the trust, not the RP that seems like that info (the RP) is missing from the RPQ |

Does anyone have insight on form 1 suppressor submissions? - I filed on January 8, eform for a suppressor; I received the submitted email 'pending research' right away. When I look in eforms the created date shows, but no submitted date. I attached a hand-drawn sketch of the design I was going to make, and the statement 'to be made from aluminum, no materials purchased'. |

My brother had one approved in less than 48 hours last week. Cousin had one approved in 72 hours this week. |

In the future, I always recommend for a form 1 suppressor to either use a model name that already exists in the dropdown menu on eForms, or select "N/A" from that list to have no model designation. That will avoid the pending research step. |

Still waiting on an sbs from 1/13 and 3 sbrs from 1/28, 2/2. Ive had approvals from the submissions on 1/6 and 1/9. All form 1s with efts. Also have had 3 form 4 suppressors approved this year. Im going to have to get my congress critter involved before va's ban goes into effect. |

I have wondered though with some of the to-your-door places what exactly the order of operations is. I've ordered the can in the afternoon and then went on to certify the form 4 the following day, there's no way they did the form 3 and shipped the can to the in-state dealer all in less than a day. Could be the in-state had them in local inventory, but that seems hard to manage for so many products across so many FFLs that otherwise don't seem to do retail sales. |

| I just had a bunch of F1’s comeback disapproved today due to an error on the RPQ’s. I’m assuming I just make the corrections and start over by submitting from scratch?? |
The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.

| I resubmitted 6 F4's that were returned disapproved yesterday. I have 2 more that I know will be rejected for the same error. Do I need to wait until I get an official disapproval, or is there a way for me to submit the corrections now to save a little time? |

Just got the approval on one of mine. Went through silencer shop with a 10 year old paper trust if that matters. Omega 36m submitted 2/14/2026 approved 3/13/2026 Dead Air Mask Submitted 2/14/2026 still waiting on approval Form1 SBR Submitted 2/24/2026 still waiting on approval |

Jan 6 control number 8652xx Jan 7 control number 9261xx Jan 20 control number 18080xx Feb 2 control number 19319xx Feb 19 control number 21081xx Mar 18 control number 23742xx There were 60,853 submissions between my Jan 6th and 7th submissions. 60,853 submissions per day There were 881,913 submissions between my Jan 7th and Jan 20th submissions. 67,839 submissions per day There were 123,947 submissions between my Jan 20th and Feb 2nd submissions. 9,534 submissions per day There were 176,135 submissions between my Feb 2nd and Feb 19th submissions. 10,361 submissions per day There were 266,107 submissions between my Feb 19th and Mar 18th submissions. 9,856 submissions per day Looks like the surge is over. I am hoping form 1's will start speeding up once they get to February forms! |
