Minimizes barrel shadow and keeps it nice and tight to the gun. I have a gimpy left arm, so the C clamp hold for a top mounted tape switch doesn’t really work for me, so I just push the tail cap with my banana hand long left thumb to activate the light. |

I'm starting out on a 723 Gordy clone. So far all I have is the M4 suppressor from Allen Engineering and a form 1 sbr lower. My ATF approvals came really fast here in AZ. Literally a few days. Still looking for the right upper receiver to come along and a good quality 14.5 barrel. So far I'm finding more A2 stuff available than A1. |

Attached File Only one thing left to "complete" the build before I start swapping out small parts to make it more correct. The AE M4 can. Thanks to @bigbore for the front sight work and @Schlafftablett for the 3-piece collar install. Both outfits do fantastic work and are a boon to the hobby and 2A rights. |

So quick question, I have a Colt M4 flat top aero receiver and 14.5 barrel with f marked FSB, and 6-hole hand guard. Will change to correct receiver at some point. I have my suppressor guy looking for the M4 from Allen Engineering seem to be kind of hard to find right now. Question is I am seeing different post on fitting the collar, is it that difficult to do or what am I missing here. Will probably get the 3 pack one offered from AE. Thanks thoughts and info appreciated. |
