So would someone be so kind as to give me a fair price ballpark estimate? I know the port cover is wrong but it is in pretty good condition. The gunbroker prices just seem way high. The comments in the where to find one and 80s throwback threads reminded me I had it stored away. It is not for sale but it might be up for trade if someone needs it to complete a project.

$200-225, maybe more. Prices are up with the retro craze catching on.

Thanks. Seems realistic. So if someone needs it and has a new non cage code colt flat top upper they would be willing to trade let me know.  This is not for flipping.  The price delta is okay by me if it is for a clone.

Thanks.

175 if you want it sold now. 250 if you don’t mind waiting for a buyer.

I'd say 200-250. 175 seems like an extremely quick sell, even 190 seems like a quick sell currently.

When I put parts for sale, I want them gone immediately. No screwing around, no lowering the sale price, and no tire kickers. If I set the price right, I get a motivated buyer and I get whatever shit out of my house. Of course one might be able to squeeze another 50 bucks out, but I don’t concern myself with that.

Thanks to everyone. Those that showed interest and those who helped give a fair price. Worked out a trade and airborne118 will have the upper he was looking for. Nice to know it will be built back into a nice retro.

sold 3 last year at the Chantilly Gunshow,

IIRC, 250/225/200,
the 250 was in very good shape with proper bits,

the 200 was proper but worn a bit more and the 200 was stripped and showed wear,

all the buyers tickled to get them
