Another teaser pic of my rifle when I mocked everything up hand tight just to get see how it will be.

| 308 Cerakoted FDE. Which brings me to the question of if anyone knows what KAC rail this is? Exact KAC FF RAS but in big boy 308 version. Thought it was a MK11 MOD0 rail until I realized theres no cut out for the gas block flip up sight. Was contemplating a 308 mod1….but then that would be a lot of money spent on a clone that doesn't exist. BTW….I have no idea how the fuck to use threads. I even joined like 2 others thinking it was this one. |

Absolutely love your paint job. Looks incredible. You're fine with the scope. I do think people get a little hung up on the "marketed" mag rates on them. IIRC, the TS-30's actual mag is a little above 9x and the 3.5x10's actual is a little below 10. In practical purpose I remember not being able to tell the difference at all. But with the TS-30 A2 you're getting a newer design, lighter, etc… But no matter, you still picked a perfect scope for a clone piece, did an amazing build and have one of the best paint jobs I've seen. Really really nice work. |

Wow.....Thank you so much!!! I figured out that I had a talent for painting a few years back when I got drunk and painted my jeep camo. I put to much effort into the stock, and it shows. It looks cloudy, gonna redo it after this arctic blast breaks. I learned how to rattle can from my punk rock years, "tagging" shit, and now everyone comes to me to build and paint up their rigs. Its so nice to be able to talk to people about my Mod1. Regular shooters/operators don't appreciate little things like getting ahold of the correct KAC front sight, or finding the last fuckin FF RAS left on earth.
If anyone needs advice on reloading or powder charges and shit, I'll be happy to share what I know. I've tested about 100 different powders/charge combinations, and just ordered another 1500 Nosler 77's, so I could share data if anyone is interested. Just need time to respond, not good with technology. And thank you for lifting that weight off my shoulders about my optic choice. |

Here's my Lone Survivor Mk12 Mod 1.
Everything is spec'd to the Mk12 except the Magpul rubberized MOE (because I like the feel) and the KAC ambi-safety (because I like that better as well). Can is an AE M5 instead of the Ops Inc 12th but they might as well be identical since the same guy built them.

Question for those of you using a leupold 2.5-8.
How is the eye relief on a MOD1 set up? I'm considering getting an ARMS SE-X rail to move my Vortex forward for better eye relief. Then the thought occured that I could put the money toward a more correct scope. So if I get the 2.5-8 would I still need the SE-X rail? I'm using an A1 stock btw.
