Ok, sorry for page whoring with shameless advertisements....
Here's what I wanted to share: Got my SOP sling in today, and it's pretty slick. It's wide, light, quiet, and comfortable. I wish the plastic hardware was a little more robust, but I'm sure if anything breaks Specter Gear will replace it. The patrol carry option is exactly what I'm looking for while hiking to different coyote hunting spots. 
I used the front handguard "saddle" on my SOPMOD, so if I switch back to it from the A1, I can swap the sling easily:

Or my google fu sucks I put a WTB ad In the EE because I wanted a A1 type E, A1 stocks are listed in the EE all the time, Just depends what type A1 stock you want and wait for it to pop up. A WTB ad is specific and may result in a faster buy if that's what you want . The ones at Fulton armory or cav arms a1 stocks are reproduction the rear sling swivel has a wider slot then the original A1 stocks. Just depends if you want the real deal or a repro. |
