| Went in to my local small town gun store this weekend. While waiting for the owner to finish with another customer I just milled around looking at stuff. In a disorganized display case I spotted an OPS 12th model suppressor. It had a price tag on it and my birthday is coming up. Hmmm….i’m thinking I might need a present for myself. |

Not sure how clone correct you need to be, but just finished up this. Local arfcom member gave me a package deal on a rail and Douglas barrel from PRI. Had a debacle getting the NF scope with USPS, shout out to my local office for tracking it down. Got the AEM5, form 4 for my trust was approved in 3 days, on Easter Sunday. Crazy that my first suppressor took 13 months. Just got done with a rough zero, 2-2.5moa 5 shot groups with PMC x-tac. I have some IMI 77gr to try this weekend.  |

Got my Mod1-ish build out to 100 yesterday with 77 Black Hills, 77 IMI Razorcore, and 77 Bone Frog. I shot 2EA 5-shot groups with each load. The barrel in this rifle is a 14.5in Colt Socom (new for this build, round count of 103 after yesterday). Groups are below. The IMI wasn't worth recording. Curious how this compares to good barrels like CLE, WOA, Centurion, Noveske. Anyone got some data/pics to share?

Otter Creek stopped production of the OCM5 in favor of the OCM6, last I checked. It's more of a flow through alternative so it won't suppress as well as the original OCM5. AEM5 might be the play if you want to maximize suppression and don't mind the extra gas. |

I finally pulled all the trash fake PRI crap off my Mock 12 and replaced it with an actual PRI build kit. I would like to mount a Nightforce or Luepold optic on it in the future but I really don't want to blow that much on a scope right now. So I was looking at an Athalon Optics Talos BTR 4-14X44 FFP scope. Have any of you guys had any experience with them? This Vortex 3-9x40 is going to my Brother in law's hunting rifle.

Current going rate for a Leupold Mark 4 3-9x36mm MR/T M1? Illumination dial is blended (if that's a thing). only semi recent 3-9 iv'e come across and this one is without illumination but has m3 dials. |

Another cool thing is that the 5th SFG SFSC II facility has one of the original MOD H test rifles on display in the entry way with MSG Holland's backstory on the rifle's development. That dude sparked some serious innovation within the military, not just SF, and helped create a clone culture due to his experience and innovation. |
