Slowly but surely gathering parts.
Still need - Colt upper receiver Charging handle (looks like they're using USGI, which in that case I have plenty of) ODG CTR stock ODG grip, or Hogue / ERGO grip Barrel (possibly wait on the prices to drop on these. Not paying 400+) BUIS |

Damn I was day late buying the 150+ plus Colt 11.5 Heavies on GB at $150 each last year.

G & R Tactical has the FBI barrels in stock for $330; they were offering a sizeable discount over the weekend, not sure if that still applies or not.
Mine came in today, and it is brand new, in the bag. |

Any codes for PA?
They’re charging me tax and shipping, so it isn’t that great of a deal. |

So I ordered 2 OD green Mk4 federals and for some reason Geissele sent me 2 OD green Mk16s, not at all what I ordered. Will have to call them on Monday and hopefully they can straighten this out.

Personally, I would never run the FBI Mount unless I thought I was doing a DA on a target that had a CBR threat. So never. But this being a clone thread most will take more pictures of the clone build than actually shoot/train with it. |

I figure most will be going the CTR route, just figured I’d throw this in here for comparison. Good luck with the clones, mines looking like a 10.5” 300 blk for suppressed shooting, so won’t be participating much in here. http://i.imgur.com/mPiO1Eh.jpg View Quote |

The catch is the gun would need to be sent to the Armorers in Quantico for the switch unless they happened to catch one of the mobile Armorer teams at their office. Generally swat agents can swap for different stocks, optics lights within reason etc though their local Fireams program and team leadership may have a say in that. Point being there is a basic configuration the guns are issued in but for SWAT guns there is variation after that. For example some of the guys around here seem to favor the B5 Bravo stock. It also may depend on what was on hand in the gun vault hand the last time the gun was built / re-built. |
