It’s really hard to tell, but I’ve always thought that was a 51T flash hider. |

KAC doesn't really fit the bill and they barely have the capacity either since they have to make 1000 KS-1s for the UK every year. |

Thoroughbred is selling some uppers. Not sure what the upper receiver is but it’s a way for people to get one. https://www.thoroughbredarmco.com/product/1264/ |

They were the manufacturer of Noveske parts for a while. They still make an upper that looks just like the gen 3 it just doesn’t have the Noveske label on the left side. |

I like TB as a clone resource but sometimes it's obvious they're fine with a 95% clone and only the really discerning will be able to tell the difference. In this case it's pretty close if you don't care about HIR cerakote and the logo. |

Pretty tall order considering Noveske refuses to sell that at all Originally Posted By thatARMSguy: Noveske would be drowning in money if they'd sell factory DEVGRU carbines, or even just the uppers. Mod H barrels need to be a production item as well AFAIK the SMOS contract with Noveske has ended, which is why they have Gen 4. Maybe something exists to replace Dev parts but those mil contracts are more of a production limiter than anything unless they sell overruns. As to why they won't sell the correct ported 10.5 barrel or the Mod H, it's apparent that the clone market isn't big enough for them to care about, even when they sell the barrels through gun merch hypebeast company #83248429 for $600 uncerakoted. |

I actually think Thoroughbred does a pretty good job for the cloning community in terms of a one-stop shop. Not everything is 100%, but a lot of it is like 99%. Much better than most places. That's exactly it - Noveske is sitting on a gold mine and they won't offer it. What more marketing do you need than "NSW uses it"? They'd sell shit tons of complete clone NSW uppers. |

Makes sense - I figured it couldn't be that easy. They could just call it a "Navy" upper though - at this point, everyone knows about it. |

The whole rifle is screwed up from a production standpoint. The lower isn't made anymore because muh Chainsaw, the upper contract is seemingly ended, the actual barrel is unobtanium, and the buffer tube is seemingly not sold anymore. You can make a decent facsimile if you know what you need and the OEMs otherwise. On TB, it's funny they occasionally specify something is "Near Clone" especially for Geissele but will call everything else "Clone" despite things being wrong. They even specify on URGI "Clone" uppers that the gas block is whatever DD or Geissele is available and you can't cancel or return the order based on it lol. |
