So I built the Devgru 5.56 upper to go with the .300blk. I have the Sandman S but am thinking of grabbing another suppressor. How do yall like the m42k? I haven’t shot the sandman on the 5.56 upper yet. I’m trying to decide about the m42k (or gasp the hub version) or get an NT4 for a different build. Is the m42k worth it or just good for the clone? Thanks! |

Thanks! Mounting system is meh, can performance is good. Unless you just have to have it for the clone, I'd get the nt4 instead. Or both if your pockets allow. |

Thanks! Throw that sandman in the trash where it belongs, and get a M42K...not the hub...but a M4-2000....

I finally got around to test firing the AAC MPW LVAW combo and my first impressions of this rifle are pretty positive. Now keep in mind I only fired 35 rounds in total through it but brought along the .300blk N4 upper to directly compare it to. In my opinion the AAC is only slightly quieter than the n4 Deadair combo. To be expected given the barrel length difference, but not as much of a difference as one would expect. Attached File I was only able to do two groups and they were only 5 shots each so really not much of a sample size at all. The black square is roughly half an inch and this was at 100 yards. AAC 110 Gr. VMAX Attached File Here is AAC 220gr Subsonics. The group was half assed as a wind gust shifted the target stand mid grouping and so I kinda just didn't care. (Impacts below the square) Attached File Overall I'm pretty excited for this rifle and to continue on with it as a project. Obviously the Su-279 on it isn't correct and will need to be replaced. Same can be said for the FN BCG I threw in  |
