govt. never liked the socom weight or balance.

I hear that. My HBAR feels too front heavy once I start strapping anything to the front of it. It's good with just the double heats. But those are light. Add a light and I'm like, meh, I wish it was a Govt..... Add it to the list of things I desire. LOL.
Although I'd have to say, a Holland has got to be WAY more front heavy than a Socom barreled M4. Except it's at home prone and not offhand, eh? Whereas your M4gery is going to be a run and gun type of gun I'm assuming, eh? I just know that my recce is accurate, but I'd rather have my A2 if I was going to shoot off hand much. The lighter barrel makes it much nicer to shoot offhand. For me. So, my son told me about this movie, could be good, and probably will have a lot of block 1/1.5 action. I didn't hear about it until tonight. But I don't watch much regular TV. 12 Strong |

Thanks for the heads up on the movie JJ. I'll be back in Astan when it comes out. I've also stated I prefer the weight/balance of the 14.5" Govt profile over the SOCOM but thats because I've carried it more since first getting it issued in 95'.

What slings would be appropriate for the different SOPMOD generations? I didn't see slings listed in the build details on the original post.
