Question about charging handles... Would an M84 Gas Buster with the regular latch be appropriate for a Block I build? Or would they always have the "Combat Latch"? Is it always a gas buster charging handle in general? Or would even standard charging handles be used/issued? |

If you guys could help me out with the value of this stuff I’d really appreciate it. P&S RAS upper, B&H lower and some rail covers with various markings. I haven’t kept up with value and I imagine this stuff has crept up since P&S bit the dust.

The Block II prototype project advances, traded my museum grade anodized #40L along with some other rare stuff for a military issued anodized #50M-CV and #40L set, these were unit purchase items circa 2007-2008. Most likely used by the Air Force as there's a few pic of a JTAC using these parts on his M4A1, which happens to be the only confirmed military use of the #50M-CV after the Block II trials. I'd like to build it out as an authentic prototype rifle though with early Phased Replacement parts (SU-237, SU-238, LA-5/A), and I'd like to get my hands on the M203 brackets as well (of which I only know of two sets in private hands), so this probably won't be an exact clone of that specific rifle.      |
