On the rear of the trigger on the left side is there is a slightly rounded corner, opposite the scalloped out side. I just did it lightly, enough to take the finish off and just a hair more.

Put the ARC together with an S3G, and the combination is excellent. Considering that the S3G pull was adapted from the SSF, it seems entirely fitting.

I'll just add that, in my experience, many of these jigs seem to indicate the removal of far more material than is really needed to get the ARC running with a G trigger. For the two S3Gs I've done so far, I just cut diagonally across the milled radius on the right side and lightly "tapped" the point on the left side a couple of times with a light-duty Dremel cut-off wheel. Just the bare minimum to round it. It's a very simple mod to do.

Based on what I'd seen online and the "Deez Nutz" jig, I assumed I'd need to remove significantly more material, but it worked perfectly. The lowers are Colts that I milled out the sear block web.

I also filed down the point on the left side of the trigger bar as indicated by the smaller red circle, and after verifying function, polished up to 2000 grit on the left side radius and hit it with some Alumablack. It's indistinguishable from a stock S3G pull.

I've only put 450rnds on the ARC so far, but it seems like a very robust system. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up under high round counts.

As far as lever blocker rattling, you can do Plastidip as mentioned, and also bend out the front 90-degree bend so it tensions against the side more. Some blockers rattle more than others... the Deez Nutz blocker I got makes practically no noise. On the other hand, the blocker from ARC, the front 90-degree bend was overbent past 90, and I had to bend it back to tension it better.

First, mine came in a plain black plastic bag about the size of what I see in this thread but it has no commercial marking on it whatsoever. The supplier is Combat Armory.

Second, is there supposed to be so much play between the lever arm and selector? The lever can easily shift from flush to a gap. That seems sloppy. The selector is fully inserted.

Flush, no gap.

There is not a lot of surface to distribute forces to in the "gap" situation. It is corner to corner. Does the bolt carrier slot keep it centered? That must be it.

Ar18 derivatives tend to run faster than the AR15, and the MCX runs 900 RPM or better, with very few options to tune it.

I’d wonder about those having bolt bounce issues due to lack of BCG mass.

I didn't notice any bolt bounce.  I put 90 rounds of 62gr 5.56 through, on the low gas setting, and a silencerco 36m can.  It ran smooth as butter, just stupid fast.  A quick touch of the trigger was letting off 3 rounds consistently, with minimal rise.  I was putting all 3 on a chest plate size ar500 swinger.  This is  a 14.5 barrel, I think tomorrow I'm gonna throw the 9 inch blackout upper on, with the same can,  and see how that runs.

Debating whether to order a V1 or wait on the V2. This is going in a clone build, so I don’t care about 45° selectors, nor any of the other selector options, other than the milspec style.

Also thought about just buying a corn fire since it has a more milspec look and isn’t ambi, thoughts?

For a clone gun, I'd go with the Cornfire. Cheaper, closer to mil spec.

However, on my own best clone (Mk18), I went with an ARC-Fire, because I believe it is the more durable design. I just tolerate the deviation from clone accuracy.

We're too early in the infancy of the FRT era to truly know how long term durability is gong to shake out with these devices. AS Designs and Partisan have units tested with over 10,000 rounds, which is great! We'll see what happens when private owners start to reach those round counts on their guns.

Speaking of clones...

AS teased their new MP5 drop in trigger at shot.  I'm super excited about that, as I don't really want an AR style lower for my MP5.

Really hoping they can broaden that idea with some other non-AR platforms.  I'd REALLY love a drop in for my B&T APC45 and my IWI X95, maybe even an AK variant.

I got their prebuilt lower with the arcfire trigger in it for my AP5K. It so ridiculously badass, I'm tempted to buy one for my fullsize AP5. I already have Franklin binary triggers in both of the HK style lowers, but they just don't run nearly as well. Not even as good as a binary in an AR or 10-22. The Arc Fire is exponentially better. Runs 115, 124, 147 grains, stick or drum mag, suppressed or not, it doesn't care. It'll go through 46 rounds out of the "50" round drum in approximately 2.5 seconds.

I might have to wait on that drop in, because the prebuilt is over $700.

I picked up both an Arc-Fire and a Cornfire for my Colt 635 clone, and I ended up going with the Cornfire.

It worked with both a Colt trigger group and a Schmid trigger group with no modifications needed. The mil-spec lever and screw just look like they belong on the gun.

So far, I’ve put about 600 rounds through it. The bolt, bolt catch, and trigger group are already showing some wear, but the Cornfire still looks like it was just installed. It seems to be holding up very well.

To me, the Cornfire is nice for the retro clones and Arc-Fire for all others.

Got my milspec safety in today after accidentally ruining my other one. AS designs replied to a couple emails I sent the day of or the day after which I was impressed with.

So far I only have 10 mags on it but it has been flawless. I'd be curious to see what other round counts everyone else is on. No areas of wear on anything on mine. I'm pretty happy with alit and considering another. I picked mine up from combat armory for 200 shipped on sale. If I see another at that price point I'd probably be game.

I hope I'm wrong, but, I think too much material was removed from the Left hand side of the trigger.  If you scroll back through this thread and compare photos, most of the corners just look blunted.  Yours looks pretty rounded.

The good news is it will still function as a non FRT.

Oh, man. I'm sorry to say it, but I concur with those who say that your trigger has far too much material removed on the left side. As they say, if it passes the safe test is still fitting for a semi auto AR15.

These fiends have talked me into buying 7 G$ triggers in the last month: 6 G2S and 1 SSA. I had no G$ triggers before that. I was focused on LaRue MBT-2s triggers, until I saw that they were not being supported by FRT manufacturers. So, out with the LaRues and in with the G$s!

Many a lad has gone down the path to ruin by listening to the FRT pimps in this thread! The good thing is that my wife thinks that our credit card bill for 7 G$ triggers and 14 FRTs in the last few months is funny. Good women are hard to come by.

This is why I’ll have my triggers professionally cut.

Yeah. I know. I meant 3 position FRTs.

I may pick up a 2 pos AZ Regulator, just because. The idea of FRTing my 24" varmint rifle with a LaRue MBT-2s is interesting.
