Yes, it's a LaRue low profile gas block. You have to remove a bit less than a tenth of an inch from it's front so the OPS collar will sit on the shoulder machined into the SPR spec barrel. The collar is a little thicker than the LaRue gas block's sleeve, but it doesn't look bad. It does keep you from having to coat the barrel, as with the 12th in place the SS is only visible under the DD 13.5 rail. Many thanks |

Dude it's tough...I've got one, well nearly there...still needs a trigger. But I've been working on mine for over a year now...it takes a while to find the right deal....you really gotta look. Mine is a Mod0..MSTN. I got the upper for 1,200 unfired, and got a Leupold MK4 for 650. All said and done, it'll be around 2,200 bucks...vs some guys who got an easy 3K in them... |
Here is one more of the SPR and some others on our last shooting day. Here is a video of the SPR shooting a spray paint can at 640m with a 8x scope. We did this and on average he hit it 3 out of 5. SPR Video Link....fixed |
| Quick question. I have a scope with the Larue SPR mount and I wanted to add either a JPoint and mount it on the Larue or a Pride Fowler and mount it on top. Do you guys prefer to mount it on the Larue or on top? I've had one mounted on top and I didn't like it too much because I had to lift my head to use it. With the Larue I would just have to tilt the rifle to the left. For the guys that use the Larue, how much do you have to tilt the rifle? Thanks for the help. |

These are not SPR's, but they both have a long rail on the bottom of the PRI tube. Mine (tan) has it moved all the way to the rear, for a VFG. The other one is in the forward position. demigod.org/~zak/DigiCam/MSTN-LW17/?small=143_4398_img.jpg |

I have a question regarding the Mk12s and the OPS-INC 12th Model Suppressor. How well does the suppressor re-zero once you remove it. Just curious as it would be removed to clean the rifle then your zero may be off the next time you shoot. Thanks, Click To See The M60E4 In Action  RIA M60-E4 |
