Stunning looking piece of kit you've made there Troy, I gotta admit I've never been fond of the look of the SS style of guard. Always liked the full quad better. However, my arms don't care for it - lugging it up and down mountains and through thick Kiwi bush! I was about to pull the trigger, so to speak, on one of the new gen T rails, but now... now I think I will wait for the 10.5... Or maybe get both? Like someone mentioned earlier with the concept of swapping out handguards, one could quite easily do this with your SSK & the Gen2 T series yes? How far away is it till the 10.5 comes out Troy - or at least a rough idea if it will be this side of Christmas? Got me a few weeks off over the Christmas/New Years, and would love to have it for then, as thats when I do a lot of my summer time hunting. This would be the bees knees for then!

| The 10.5 units will be out in 3-4 weeks . We are running them right now . We chose this length so you could use them on a mid length gas system with a micro gas block and you will not have extra unused space that adds weight . The 15 inch models are running in another machine and should be ready in the same time frame. Thank you. Troy. Mi. |

Buh, buh, buh, buh, but, I just installed the 15 inch SS Gen2... And now you're bringing out the 15 inch keymods?
Do I at least get an "honest customer" discount since I had to call 3 times within 3 weeks to get a return shipping label to send back an extra 15 inch SS Gen 2 that was accidentally sent to me?

I want the 15" for my 18" DD S2W barrel. Can you sell it to me now unannodized??? I'm going to cerakote it burnt bronze anyways.
Can you start offering your handguards unnannodized and just blasted with 120 grit? I think you would grab a growing market of buyers looking to cerakote it themselves, maybe offer lowers and stripped uppers in the same manner. |

How about a weight and date on the 10.5. Please! A week ago they said 3-4 weeks on the 10.5, so I'd imagine 2-3 weeks(Nov 7th -15th) is the current time frame they are shooting for. As for weight, the 12 is 8.5, and the 15 is 9.9, I'd guess the 10.5 is somewhere around 7.4 or 7.5. |
