Here are mine. Much thanks to Gloftoe for hosting them for me, while I was shut out of the arfcom server.

A model 329 AR, 18" bbl, no bayo lug, w/a flash supressor.

Yes, it does seem to be unfired.

Beautiful rifle!  I had it's twin in 1990, I traded a guy my used Srpingfield Armory SAR-48 Israeli HB for it new in box, straight up.

Then like an idiot I sold it in a fit of weakness.

Is that rust on the receiver? Bad pics? or some other discoloration?

Other than that, it looks VERY familiar.

Nice job on the trade. Now we just gotta get Lumpy196 to do the same.

Nope, just a crappy camera.....finish is about 98%, with the usual slight character marks that I'd expect on a rifle that is at least 14 years old.

The gas piston and bore are pristine!

Guys,

These are great pix. I'd like to post a picture of mine--not particularly unique, although I chose to leave the wooden stock on it, which I think looks pretty classy.

I'm new to the forum; can someone provide some info on how to post pix?

Thnx

Wyn

First, you have to have your pictures hosted on a online server.

Second, you will need to find the URL of the picture.

Third, copy and paste the URL of the picture to the forum with the proper code.

It should look like this: {img}www.yourlinkhere.com{/img}

You would just need to substitute the {} for [].

Good Guy,

I notice that your pix are hosted at the same site; how did you get them to show up in this thread?

Thanks,

Here are a couple of photos of my Galil 223. It is a Pre-Ban Magnum Research Rifle. It is just a safe queen. It has sat in the safe for over 20 years. I 've probably not fired a hundred rounds through it. I have actually been selling some of my Guns because I no longer shoot since my son went in the Navy 10 years ago. So I am browsing around trying to get updated on the Assault rifle scene again, in case I may want to sell it sometime in the future. Trying to figure out what it is worth is a bit difficult. But I thought ya all might like to see it. When I first bought It, I had a Williams Trigger job done on it. Big help. Then added the scope. It then became the best grouping gun in the safe. Not bad for a Galil to out shoot my hunting rifles on the Range.
Any way here it is. If any one has any ideas on pricing I would appreciate it.
Hope these show up ok.

Yes. I have decided to sell it. I have it listed a couple of places. I am asking $3500 for it.
Thanks

It's not an IMI Galil, but a South African R5 with modern accessories.

Very Nice!  Was it built in South Africa or did you find R5 parts and build them up on a Galil receiver.

Is the bulge on the gas tube or the gas block.  I've never seen either like that.

Where did you get the rail?

It's a SA built R5 (Vector / Denel).  The photo is from a SA friend who made the rail for the SAPS and African Warrior rifle upgrade program.  SA forces are looking at upgrading the R4/R5s with modern optics, NVD, etc. to extend their useful life.
