Things we know: -milled receiver -bulgarian (not russian, no vityaz or svd or anything!) -overpriced -not game changing probably some new muzzle device, or maybe a large run on folding stock milled guns thats 2k+, or "SBR ready" milled guns (krink/ak104 gas w/ 16" barrel)... zzz |

| I haven't formed much of an opinion on Arsenal thus far in my experience in the AK world, but it sounds to me like they have a very disorganized warehouse if they're constantly "losing" firearms in the damned place. For the price they're getting for these rifles you'd think that they could afford to hire a competent services team to keep track of their inventory.... Think I'll send them my resume. |

If it's a SAM, it's more than likely made on a Bulgarian milled receiver.
their current lineup is: SAMX is Bulgarian milled SLR-10X is Bulgarian stamped (I know the SLR-101s is milled, but they've renamed them to SAM7) SA XXX is US milled Nothing's set in stone until we see what it is, but it's likely going to be a bulgy milled gun with some "game changing" folding stock or something. I have a strong feeling that it is going to be some kind of folder to fill the spot that the stamped SLR rifles left, since those are out of production (or sitting in a warehouse  )

This. It's really pitiful, if you ask me. They are the only game in town when it comes to factory Bulgarian AK's, though, so take it or leave it. |

We don't know that it won't actually be game changing as well... It's easy to disparage the term after Red Jacket, but my original guess of a Krebs developed rifle would fit the term. An honest to god, 1moa AK would shake things up. |

This. It's really pitiful, if you ask me. They are the only game in town when it comes to factory Bulgarian AK's, though, so take it or leave it. Unfortunately they currently have a monopoly on the Bulgy and Russian AK game. |

I'm guessing a milled side folder like their current mil production. They like to throw rails on things too, so add one of those. It's going to cost more than its worth because it's a limited special edition.
I'd like a new non-ban SA M-5 with just a fixed stock, but that's too much to ask for. WE MUST HAVE EXPENSIVE OVER-COMPLICATED TACTIC-LOL RIFLES! |

At the least, we'll get to spend a day shooting, and that's never a bad day, waddya say? |

My comment was regarding if a used vepr is worth $400 more than a new one. Based on your past preaching, no it's not. What is it with everyone and shooting for the tiniest groups lately?
Some of us really don't care. I don't pretend my AK's are tack drivers, and I'm not a professional target shooter. I shoot because it's fun. Period. Torturing myself at a bench with a locked in rifle, shooting groups doesn't seem fun. But that's me. If I can hit an IPSC steel silhouette consistently at 300m, that's good enough for me, and that's what brings me the most joy. Some of you act like we have to know the technical details, the nitty-gritty in order to be "legit" shooters, and shooting tight groups is the most important thing evar. There are different types of shooters. We need to respect each other. Now back on topic: It's not anything Russian. ETA: Clarification/Grammar.
