Should be a USGI part, may have to cut a relief on the rear of the barrel to keep the extractor from hitting. Known problem with M3 semis.

Found this too, if it's the right OD it will take some modding.

Nice work Tweak!

Indianapolis MG was out last time I looked...2 other sources wanted $75-$150 for OEM parts...

I was wondering if a 1911 extractor was close to the same dimensions, Zerker...could you/did you mic that out?

A stock 1911 extractor wouldn't work unless you built a bushing to fit around the rectangular portion of it. Otherwise it's damn close if too long.

No Mic needed. It would take heavy modification to get it to work. Comparing the two side by side shows me that the CnC(Crank and Cuss) machine would be a stone cold MOFO to try to use on a tempered piece like that. Now if I annealed it first and made some jigs totaling hours of time.......I would probably still fuck it up.

Got an email in to EGW requesting the diameter of their HD 1911 extractor.

Also an email into Indy Ord asking if their GG extractors are in stock.
