I took mine out yesterday for the first time and shot 300 rounds through it with about 5 failure to feeds and about 3-4 times the round got jammed halfway into the chamber. I would have to pull the cocking handle back then fish out the round and continue. I've had a GSG rifle for a while now with an occasional issues like this but nowhere near the frequency. Just so u guys know I never hold the mag while shooting and always make sure the rounds are tapped to the back of the mag before inserting the mag into it. I found these methods to help with the rifle but the PK has had ridiculous amounts of issues already! I may have to send this one to the Ray dude. I wrote this juat as an FYI for those who r going to buy a PK to beware because I have heard of others having issues with the PK before me and I was hoping that I wouldn't experience the same issues but I unfortunately didn't escape the issues. Pretty damn frustrating. But when it functioned correctly it was a hell of a lot of fun!!!

Unfortunately this is a very very common issue on all GSG-5 guns. Call/Email Ray and then send it to him for repair. He'll rivot the ejector as this is a problem related to the ejector coming loose from the bolt housing.
I sent mine in and got it back. I have yet to test it out but I have read that others have reported success with the rivoted ejector. f.y.i. ejector/extractor, it's one of those, i get the names mixed up all the time..... |

I know it's a dumb question but I'm curious what he does exactly. you can either send him the whole gun or just the bolt housing.. cheaper to ship just the bolt housing but i sent him my whole gun just in case... they key is to call him first and talk to him about it.... .. the rivet attaches the ejector to the bolt housing, all internal... |

I had the same issues with my GSG-5 when I first bought and sure enough when i broke it down the extractor/ejector was loose.
Fortunately I was able to fix it myself by just restaking it using an automatic center punch. It has performed flawlessly since doing this 2000 rounds and counting. If it ever does come loose again i will have it riveted in. i would imagine they are using a flush steel or aircraft grade aluminum rivet. Anyone get one back from Ray that has taken some pictures? |

So I read what u guys were telling me and then I took a look at my PK and Rifle and saw that the PK might already have the rivet that Ray is installing. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I was looking at the extractor and the PK has a brass color rivet and the rifle does not. So the PK must have some other issue that is causing these problems if I'm looking at the right thing. The rivet may help the rifle though cause it doesn't have one. Here are pix I took of each and tell me if I'm looking at the right part. Thanx! PK Extractor (I think?)
