I searched but didn't see a thread dedicated to pictures of your NV devices mounted on your firearms.

Let's start one!  I don't have NV yet, but this thread will help me decide what kind of setup I want.

thats depressing...knowing its worth...and knowing i won't own one for 10+ years. I couldn't save 12k if my life depended on it. It will be spent on several ars and a few pvs14s from you by that time lol. Awesome stuff.

On top is a Pinnacle autogated PVS 14 with the cleanest tube you could imagine. Many, many thanks to Victor. He is a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with!

How would one go about mounting a PVS-14 to the top of a flat-top AR?  I am sending my check to victor tomorrow for one,  I got a helmet mount rig from a buddy in the county sheriff's office that he just donated to me,  and I found one of these:

Larue LT110 Optics Mount in the local classifieds for 50 bucks.

What else do I need to mount a PVS14 on an AR?

Edited to add: Victor,  my wallet hates you.  You need to have a disclaimer before posting IR pictures.  Tease us for years with NV shots,  drain our accounts and the start with the IR stuff.  You're killing us.

Well, here is the home Victor's former demo unit found.

Although I must say, since I acquired a real MICH/ACH helmet, I much prefer helmet mounting the PVS-14, unless I am firmly planted to one spot.

Here is my 10.5" MRP with Victor's PVS-14 and a low profile Hayes Research IWAL2 laser with tapeswitch on the Gripod.

My other favorite night setup, my Krieger Mod0 SPR with D-760 6x GenIII (also from Victor).

I very rarely run the PVS weapon mounted, as I much prefer it on the helmet.  Here is what one of the weapon mounted configurations looks like though:

Helmet mounted PVS-14/weapon mounted IR laser is the ideal combat solution but it's fun to mount the PVS-14 to the weapon for a little low light target practice.

Here is a combination, the Arsenal A1R with BP02 mount with PVS-14 and IR laser.

I feel Victor needs at least a bit competition for his otherwise very impressive inventory

ELCAN SpecterIR SP50B

Borrowed a buddy's NV scope.  Got bored, so I took some pics:

And there really isn't an explanation for this one.  Other than Boredom. . . .

Scope is a Pantera RN-801A.  At least thats what it says on the side.

The PVS502 is fairly old, but still works well, and it's a bit heavy, but not too bad. (Jeepers, sounds like me)

I've got an Israeli reticule, and like it over the normal, M14/M16/FN reticules, cause it's simple and doesn't cover much of the image.

Gotta love firearm/night vision innovation, always brings a smile to my face  Last December I had a 91/30 mosin nagant w/ a rail on the barrel w/ a cherokee laser on it.  NV on the helmet, it was the ultimate technologically confused setup...  but it worked
