Oh hell ,why not ? Any way I have a Larue LT- 129 Cantilever mount that I bought with my Aimpoint ML3,and I have to say the mount is rock solid and I switch out that mount with another mount that I have a 1x4 scope mounted in.When I put the Larue LT-129 back on my rifle so I have my red dot It goes back to zero perfectly every time that I cant notice any difference in my point of aim.

Not that's it a mount exactly, but my VFG which is a Larue also is solid as a rock and the quick detach mount makes it a pleasure to use.

I'll be ordering a Larue optic/mount combo soon. I have no clue what Im going to get though. Im looking at everything from Aimpoints, to Trijicon ACOGs, to Leupolds.

Ive read that Larue mounts are second to none. Although I dont fancy paying so much for a mount, I figure its the smart thing to do.

If money is not a factor I see no point in using any other mount than a Larue

I have a few rifles with Larue mounts.

AR10 with Nightforce in a LT-104 mount

5.56 build I recently did with a Comp M3 in a Larue Cantilever mount

A precision build I did with a Nightforce in a LT-104 mount

Another 5.56 build with Comp M4/Magnifier in Larue Mounts

SBR with Comp M4/magnifier in Larue Mounts

My 6.8 with a Leupold mounted in a LT-104 mount

As you can see I am a big fan of Larue mounts.

My favorite mounts are from Larue.

Here's a slightly out of date pic of my rifles with various Larue mounts.

I bought one SPR-E and now I will never buy anything but LaRue for AR platform mounts.    They are perfect and I'm picky; it's a good match.  Mounts are absolutely repeatable every time I take them off and put them back on.    It's hard to believe, but it's true.
SPR-E    hoping to put a new Burris XTR14 in place of the Millet soon

I wish Larue would ALSO eventually incorporate the TICK MARKS on their QD Speed Levers –– to assist especially when moving from one upper to another :)

LaRue Tactical EOTech LT-110 QD Mount on my LMT 16" M4gery

I'm very satisfied with the performance of all my LaRue optic mounts, including my LaRue 9.0 rails and FUG VFG.

I also have a LT-104 SPR 1.5 QD mount with my 3-9X40 hunting scope that I'm also very satisfied with which I use during the hunting seasons, all my future mounts will be always LaRue for sure.

ETA: Added pic of my LT-104 with Nikon 3-9X40 scope note plenty of clearance (0.25") with my Troy FDE BUIS

RCC1, who made your vise, and what model is it? Is it stable and sturdy? I like the deep jaws compares to a regular one.

LT RCO mount along with an LT707 flashlight mount. I'm hoping that the offset version (similar to the Scoutlight offset mount) Mfingar alluded to will be arriving sooner rather than later.

I use a nose to charging handle and just not sure on the eye relief with
it. but it looks like you have yours far enough back where it may not
be an issue for me with a 104 mount.

Get a LT-139 if you shoot NTCH, it will give you more room for adjustment. With a LT-104 you'll be at the end of your adjustment room and it still might not be enough.

Just got my Eotech mount in the mail, as soon as I mounted it I noticed it pushed the optic to the right quite a bit. The battery latch in now way off center and is distraction when trying to co-wittness in the bottom 3rd of the lens.. Also its not holding zero when I take it on and off.. I was a good 3 inches low and 2 to the left after I remounted it ... I took it off, remounted it a second time and had the same results... Its a shame, I like the idea of the mount, and the qucik detach feature, however it just seems like I spent 134 bucks to create 2 new problems that I wouldnt have if I had just left it alone. Now whether I send it back and try a new one, or just get my money back im still going to have to rezero the damn thing yet again....

It's called stainless steel and yes it is shiny when you shine a very bright light on it at the right angle.

Ain't holding zero ?

ETA - Sounds like you didn't have  zero quite yet.  Make the adjustments to where it is and try it again.  But your "throws it off center comment"  makes me go "hmmm".

Well to be completely honest with you, I just sent my Eotech out for repairs.. Figured since I was going to sight it in again anyway might as well slap a mount under her. So it could indeed be the optic. I looked at it real close again and the battery compartment doesn't seem to seat completely flush or square,so that could be what the issue is there... I could careless about that honestly as its just a cosmetic thing. As long as I can get it to zero and hold zero after remounting it ill be a happy camper, Ill take her our after the rain stops...unmount and remount a few times and see if I cant get it to work Regardless the dillo dust makes up for all the troubles, that stuff is good lol...

Assuming LaRue Rings are in scope for the discussion here...
I've got a set of LT-123's where a NF 5.5-22x56 lives on top of my MAK tubegun.  Normally I wouldn't have QD rings on something like this, but I wanted to be able to take the scope off and use irons for XTC and other stuff.  If I didn't need QD's I'd likely <EDIT: re-read thread "rules", edited for compliance ––Slice>
The LT-123's are really high quality rings.  Didn't require any lapping at all, and grip the rail like a vise.  While I wouldn't say they've got an absolutely perfect return to zero when remounting, I've never had them be off more than 1 or maybe 1.25 MOA, usually less.  When you think about the precision required to make that happen, it's amazing really.  I'm impressed –– happy as I could be with them.
Will see if I can scrounge up a pic.

LT-152 vs LT-150 or LT-129.

I see most members here with the LT-150 or LT-129 on their ARs.  I believe these are lower 1/3 co-witness.  Is the LT-152 absolute co-witness?  I tried the LT website and unfortunately, it didn't say either way (or I missed it).  Also, I've never had the privilege to try any of them.  I just have the Aimpoint QRP-2 mount.  Does anyone use the LT-152 with a standard FSB and how do you like it?
