For those that might not have seen these pics in the other thread, here are some pics of an Aimpoint T1 mounted in a LaRue LT660HK  on a standard AR-15 flat-top upper receiver.  When using the flip-up back-up iron sights, the tip of the front sight post and the red dot are visualized approximately 5/8 of the way up from the bottom of the Aimpoint field of view, hence the "upper 5/8 cowitness" nomenclature.

Are these two holes in the mount body custom?

NM found the pics in LT's site, wonder why they don't make standard height T1 mount like that?

Molon, do you see a downside to using an HK 416 diopter sights and the larue medium mount with a t1.  It will be on a 16" barrel.  Building it for a friend, but he wants his sights low to the upper, not for any specific reason other than he can..

I'm afraid I don't own any of the HK diopter sights so I'm unable to comment.
