Does anyone have an EoTech, mounted on a LaRue mount, with a PVS14/6015 and a GG&G high 6015 mount in back on the LaRue? I have my 6015 in a GG&G high mount, and I use it with an EoTech mounted directly to the flat top with a GG&G Accucam, but I would like to use the irons in the bottom third of the EoTech window, which the LaRue mount offers. The LaRue mount would raise the GG&G 6015 mount higher that it normally sits. Would it still work? Pics would be great. Grant? |
I do not have the GG&G mount and would advise you to just get the LT PVS-14 (LOW) mount and be done with it. C4 |
Well, since the 6015 is fixed and does not move, it really doesn't matter how high it sits, so long as the EoTech reticle is visible. I like to have the 6015 sit as high as possible with the reticle still visible, so the field of view from the 6015 is maximized due to less of the EoTech being in the way... I'll check around and see if anyone else knows if the reticle is still visible. Thanks. |
Not sure if I follow you on the "fixed" comment. I am almost certain of two things: 1. The GG&G mount will NOT fit on the back of the LT EOTech mount (will hang over). 2. Will be too high and not line up with the EOTech window. You could just push the LT EOTech mount forward (onto a FF rail) and then you just mount the GG&G onto your receiver. C4

+1 - I've got mine on the body, not the lens assembly. Wouldn't work too well rotating the whole optic to focus it. Here's the pic from the Larue site:

Yup, that is the setup I am lookin at. I just need the 2 LaRue mounts. Does everything fit ok with the Troy rear BUIS? |
