Anyone here shot any of this yet? I picked some up in .308 at Cabela's over the weekend (165 gr SST) but it will be a while before I can get to a proper range to test it at distance.
Hornady is making some serious claims with this ammo. VERY interested to see test results (in any caliber for that matter).

| Yes I shot some out of my dpms lr308 ap4. blown primers.....sent it back to hornady. they told me that they do not have crimped primers and do not recomend shooting any superformance ammo in short barrelled semi autos. Very unfortunate, considering their advertisments seem to say the opposite. |

I'll check out the ar10 area for more info. Just curious if anyone has put it to Molon like tests yet.
Re: the semi-auto, in their catalog it says: "...available in 243 to 458, and is safe for use in ALL firearm types including semi-autos, lever guns and pump actions". They actually do have the "ALL" in all caps. Personally I'm looking to use it in a semi-auto AR w/ 26" barrel and on a more limited basis in a bolt gun. |
