I'd been meaning to put together a dedicated .22LR upper for some time. After giving it some thought, I came to the realization that no off-the-shelf upper would be able to offer the combination of features I desired, and so I approached Redtazdog with my requirements. This is what he whipped up:

I haven't tested any of Redtazdog's barrels but he assisted with an 8" barrel that was sent through him for Clint Beyer.
I have a lot of respect for Redtazdog and believe he does some very fine builds. This is another example of that. I've learned by reading his threads / posts and talked with him on the phone. Great Guy... Dave S |

Every part I touch or make gets treated like its mine as the passion and love for this hobby is addictive. 
I have found that I like doing the custom builds better than the standard rifle length as it gives me a little personal touch with the build going out to the customer. I will probably leave the rifle length builds to CMMG, C Beyer and others that are selling them as the standard. I hope that custom build doesn't give you BRD xikteny
