Sorry 'bout the dead air folks, I been busy flyin' that darnfangled Wright Brothers invention.
Ya see, since them fellers won that International Sniper Comp at Ft. Benning using LaRue OBRs ... I felt well compelled to personally fly them down some stuff to sling out on their prize table at the USASOC Sniper Comp going on all this week at Bragg. I drug her out of the barn, and stuffed stuff that would fit in the " poor man's Mustang " and lit off for Bragg. Caught a monster tailwind and was seein' 190 miles per hour on the ground. Wooo weeee. Anyhow, snow and such forced me to land short in Columbia,SC (actually Fairfield, SC), where the next day broke clear and cold and perfect for flyin' on in. The boys liked what I could stuff in the Navion and proceeded to give me the nickle tour of the upcoming competition. Awesome, just wished I could have filmed it for y'all. 
Anyhow, got back in time to make the daughter's band concert and plumb forgot to close the contest. Let's go pick that number ...

I think you need to recalibrate your DG Mark. Im pretty sure SC is the opposite direction of TX from Ft. Benning,
Next time you need to make a detour like that though, just come a little north to KAVL, I'll come buy you a drink. ETA: I suck at reading, missed the "Ft Brag" destination. offer for KAVL still stands though, we have a nice "little" iarport here with an 8001 ft runway and very little traffic. |
That puppy would make my Nashville-Abilene treks almost bearable. |

My boy in my avitar just landed on US soil 48 hours ago, after 8 months in the sand, if i win its going to him  , problem with a deployment flight delivering supplies they had to ditch on a deserted airfield, location cannot be disclosed , they had to guard the cargo and plane for 4 days without food water ,no sleep constant patrol, they were in hostial terrority, i was sick as he told me what he was allowed to speak of, thank god hes back,
These troops deserve the best, another and first reason i have great respect for mark LaRue and his crew, its gonna be a good holiday ,
