1. you have to be a team member (it's mark's way of saying thanks to those who give back and support this site).
2. post a number between 1 and 2000.
3. don't edit the post.
4. only post a number. no smiley faces, no comments, etc.

I think some people just like to play "their number" and don't much care if it's a dupe already.

This is stupid of course since it reduces their odds of winning.

If your number gets picked, they run the random number generator again to decide between the two with the same number. Your still in, but your odds just got cut in half.

First time here for the contest, so help me out...

I pick a number, between 0-2000, and ideally one that hasn't been chosen?

Do you only get to pick one number?
If multiple people choose the same number that gets picked, I'm not understanding what happens then?
When does the monthly contest end?
