Curses, foiled again! I did use spaces, I was trying to have fun with the "size" button and could only resize by seperating the numbers. I guess that I forgot to delete the spaces. It's funny though; the report is not showing me as disqualified for posting multiple numbers. Oh well, there is always next month!

So in the interests of trying to extract the correct number from posts that include complex pseudo formulary I've adjusted the report to use the number to the RIGHT of the equal sign.
This means that if for some reason you post something like this: 87 = my number!!!1one! the report won't see the '87' (and will likely show you as having picked '1').
This is a subtle change from the previous behavior where the first number in the post was scanned. This change in detection is only in effect for posts that contain the '=' symbol. Let me know if anything else looks busted. |

So I noticed in the report the column at the bottom lists all the posters and the numbers chosen and breaks it down into Posters (valid, multiple, edited, comments, non-team)
I know if you post more than once, edit or are not a Team Member you're disqualified. I'm one of those that posted a comment. Nowhere in the rules did I see that adding comments disqualified a poster. Am I disqualified or am I in? |

My favorite part of the contest is to look at number post in which members unknowingly DQ'd themselves. Read the rules, just sayin'... Same here. I love reading the witty comments people come up with to DQ themselves. More power to 'em! Those are funny! The way I read the rules, if the comment is one smiley or a font/color/size, its allowed. Otherwise, you are at the mercy of LaRue. Of course, I am not LaRue, so it would be best to wait for an official ruling.

Nowhere is it stated in the rules that one CANNOT post comments with their number. Yet when I scroll all the way down the "Numbers/Picks/Posters chart my name's in Red. Two of us picked 714 but the "Picks" column only says 1.
If that means I'm DQ'd then I'm DQ'd and there's nothing I can do about it. I would like a confirmation if that's the case because I'm not the only one. mnd, has there been a clarification about this? My 1st LaRue contest since joining Team. I'll know better next time. |
