Here's Delta's Deal of the Week:
Group 31 AGM Battery Manufacturer's 2nds
12VDC 100Ah These AGM batteries are brand new manufacturer's second. These batteries are Deka 9a31 batteries and are either rotated, unsold older stock OR simply missing a handle. These would be a great addition to a battery bank or for portable electric needs. They are being sold for $85 and shipping will run you about $30.

I'm in the market for a pair of these.
I called rebirth auto on friday morning. No Answer. Left message... No return call. Shipping is a little more than $30. From them in Florida to me in NJ is $44.39 for 1 battery and $109.90 for 2 batteries. I guess I'll have to place 2 separate orders. I wish shipping on these was $30 each. I would have ordered them already. I'll wait and see if they bother to call me back Monday before I order anything. Jer |

I've actually had good communication with them so far. I left a message on Wednesday at noon and got a call back by 4. I've also received a few emails from them updating me on the status. Apparently they usually ship large (10+) batteries. Here's their email from Thursday:
David, I see your order. We are not going to process your payment until we get some single battery shipping UPSable boxes (we generally sell them 10+ per order). UPS is not kind to these batteries. I just spoke to them today and we got a deal on the shipping. So, for 2 of these batteries, their cost is $105/ea after shipping. |
