Okay, there have been a few threads over the past week where people have debated looks over performance etc and those members on here who hew to the 'its a tool not an art object' viewpoint have made their opnions clear...fine. Now lets list the weapons that we just plain love the LOOKS of. period.

-1911 -Beretta 92 -KISS M4. Very minimalist lines, you can tell there's hardly an ounce on her that doesn't belong. I don't like weapons with vast, bloated expanses of unnecessary plastic, or inexplicably huge receivers (I'm looking at you FS2000, SCAR, and SCARish rifles) I've fallen hard for bullpups lately: -FN P90 -MSAR STG556 (railed, the integrated optic of the original Steyr AUG looks weird to me) -Kel-Tec RFB |

Don't mind the non-Polish mags and Tapco pistol grip, all have been replaced with Polish originals. I need to take updated pictures. |

Beretta 92. Look at how many movies it has been in. That is not by accident, many directors LOVE the beretta's looks on screen, and have said as much in interviews.
The Luger is a classic image as well. I have to admit, I lust hard over the Stainless CZ75B. The 75 is a great looking gun anyway, but in that stainless.....wow! (Yes, I have owned a 92FS, have a Luger and a SS 75B.) Rifles always seem to have to be funky space-sniper rifles to get real screen time, like the thing in Bourne Supremacy. But, a good AR and, of course, the MP5 always look good in movies. |
