As soon as my krink gets back from the builder, I'll post a pic of it.  Once I get off my butt and get the paperwork in the mail, I'll also get going on a pic of my HK clone.

Sig 556 converted to 552 by Frank Hatten at AMA using a new 552-2 parts kit.  The only remaining US manufactured items are the receiver and barrel, both of which were mod'd to 552 specs.  Frank welded on a Swiss steel optics rail that came from a demilled 552 receiver.  I was also fortunate to pick up a Swiss Arms 552 rail from Larry Gaglio.  This is a product improved version of the B&T rail, in that it is cut from a solid piece of billet aluminum.  Larry told me that the B&T rails start life as castings.  Not that it really matters structurally, but it is a nice addition.  The buttstock is the Swiss-made 553 type folding and collapsing stock.  This came on one of the early produced 556 Classic rifles.

Here are my first two SBRs.  It wasn't until a few years after I built these that I finally did an AR15.

HK SP89 turned into MP5K-N PDW with factory HK-installed PDW barrel.   It is fullauto with the help of a DLO registered HK trigger frame.

EDIT: Wanted to add this is the M92 I won a few years back in the ar15.com members raffle.
Got a SBR tax stamp, and spent $20 on the cone flash hider, roll pin, detent, and spring, and removed the fake suppressor.

Harry - Looks great, I've been toying with the idea of building one.  Is the standard length (short) barrel hard to come by?  Can you swap it out at home with normal tools?  I can't say I know much about the PS90 at all.  Thanks!

Dave

Its a little more tricky than an AR but is very possible at home. There are 2 ways to get the barrel:
1) Get the standard (10.3") barrel from CMMG here
2) Send your barrel to be cut and threaded. I used Hi Desert Dog in AZ. They did an awesome job and are great guys.

Instructions for removal of your barrel are here (w/pics)
I actually cut the barrel off about halfway down the exposed part with a diamond saw instead of drilling. Either one works just fine

For the retro fans.

Vector Uzi. 10" barrel I was using at a local rifle match. The 200 yard targets kinda suck.

Your wish is my command, sir.  This is my first SBR or NFA item, for that matter.  Sure as hell won't by my last.  I'm going to send out my Form 1 soon to SBR my PS90 so I'll have something like a previous poster here.  But this will do me for now...

Arsenal SLR-107UR 7.62x39 Krink, Bulgarian triangle folding stock, John Willis Original SOE bungee sling (MASH hook adapter), Tapco G2 trigger, K-Var US plum furniture, Stormwerkz rear sight rail, custom modified Ultimak gas tube rail (work done by Rifle Dynamics in Las Vegas, NV), Bulgarian flash hider.

I also had Rifle Dynamics refinish the entire rifle with Norrell's Moly Resin over Parkerization at the same time that they cut the barrel down, since the factory Arsenal finish is supposed to be so bad. Regarding the custom Ultimak rail, it should be noted that Ultimak now offers a production version of the gas tube rail for the Bulgarian Krinkov. When I sent my gun off to be worked on however, they did not. Regardless, mine is rock solid and I couldn't be happier. Turns out I didn't need the Stormwerkz rail after all.

Changed mine up a bit.  Using a Magpul MS-2 sling (goes from 2 point to single in a snap) and changed from Aimpoint to Sig optic.  Saved a ton of weight.
