| Does anyone have a link to full dissassembly, and reassembly instructions for a Winchester 1892? I have looked, but all I can find are instructions for the 1886, and 1894, the only links for the 1892 wanted me to pay to download them. |

Here is a link to disassemble the Rossi model 92. Other than a coil spring for the hammer it is the same design.
Rossi 92 dissasembly and re-assembly Thus link will also help as it has pictures: rossi 92 disssasembly They don't indicate it, but the finger lever, stop pin and locking bolts can go back in the gun as a pre-assembled unit and it's a lot quicker and easier. Take them out that way and remember how they go together, then put them back in the same way. The above instructions do not cover removing the magazine tube plug and the tube itself. Be advised the slot on the end is not for a screw driver. There will be small screws on the bottom or on either side of the plug that you'll need to remove. The end cap on the forearm has an obvious screw in the side and slides off after you remove it as does the forearm. There is a pin in the hanger for the magazine tube that allows the tube to slide out when the pin is removed.
