I had the day off work today and had been planning on getting a one-off Noveske 300 BLK rifle built recently.
It had started with a 16" Noveske 300BLK barrel with the pistol gas port getting drilled out to match my previously owned 8" Noveske 1:8 before I gave it to a good friend of mine. I had been wanting to do a rifle with my 308 silencer as close to the rail as I could possibly achieve so a bit of layout work needed to be done to ensure I could get what I wanted without going too close to the gas port. After a bit of layout work I figured the barrel would end up at 7.7" and I didn't think the gun would be under-gassed by running subsonic loads with the can attached. The specs: Noveske Chainsaw gen2 lower with LMT 2 stage trigger group VLTOR 5 position milspec buffer tube with a JP Silent Spring Noveske 1:7 barrel cut by Christian of Snipe Custom Arms NSR 7 FailZero NIB BCG LMT CH with PRI Gas Buster latch Aimpoint CompC3 in QRP LMT SOPMOD Magpul MOE+ pistol grip Yankee Hill 308 Paperwork only took me about 8.5 months to return as it was submitted back in October of last year. Range test will be happening soon. What better a thing to do on 9/11 than build another gun for the collection. God bless America.
