I have a BCG that I am trying to verify it's legitimacy. I bought it directly from you as with the other 6 5(I forgot I got one in a trade) that I own. I have been told and you even somewhat confirmed here that there were only two markings on your bolts. One being an HP MP and the other being that plus your logo it appears.
I have two early BCG's from 2008/2009 6/2008 and one from 3/2010 I believe that only have a goldish MP mark on them with a faintly stamped CM under the anodizing. Will you either confirm or deny that they are yours? ETA: If you need it let me know and I will give you my customer # to verify my purchases. I have purchased a total of 6 BCM BCG's with 2 of them being by themselves and 4 being with complete upper orders. I have also purchased 3 spare BCM bolt assemblies. ETA: Corrected years as I thought it was late 2009 for the second bolt but it was order #124394 from 3/17/2010 it appears. Thanks!!

Not to hijack but it is theirs (BCM) I believe, because I have one or two just like it from BCM in the earlier days. CM is the stamp CMT (continental machine and tool) uses on their bolts I believe, many Bushmaster bolts also have this faint mark. Just shoot it, I promise that's a high quality bolt there.
ETA: I just checked your link - although the two pics it shows may be correct for the newer stuff the older ones look like yours, and if you have one that is ionbonded and also several years old it will have no gold marks whatsoever, just the faint CM mark on the bolt. |
