You are looking at a late start to hurricane season. Welcome to 'Global Warming' where Cat 4+ were supposedly the norm. From what I've read, the upper level winds are back to the 1960's pattern which will give more Atlantic seaboard hurricanes for the next decade. Guess we'll wait to see. The weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth if the Northeast Coast gets a Cat2+ hurricane landfall will be EPIC. The Charlie Foxtrot that would ensue from an evacuation order would be the stuff for video's for years to come. |
