This is something that Arfcommers have been clamoring for for as long as I can remember. GoatBoy said that if we can get the support, he'll create a homebrewing subforum. Gentlemen (and ladies), it's up to you. Let's get a roll call of all the interested members and get this thing rolling!!!! We have a humidor and history forum. Hell, we have one for books, and math and science. GET THE WORD OUT!!! Don't let Carrie Nation win!

| A lot of guys do it because it's a cool hobby. I like it particularly because of the self reliance factor. I grow my own hops and will soon be building a stir plate to be more involved with the yeast. I just built a mash tun and hot liquor tank. I plan to build a 1 tier brewing sculpture. |

I am a member on Home Brew Talk, but think the perspective of fellow gun owners (aka like minded people) would be beneficial. Right now I'm looking at making cider for the wife, and have a mind full of fuck after all the reading, so it would be nice to ask some possibly supid questions while getting the usual arfcom ridicule followed up by the real answer. i.e. I'm wondering if I can add sugar to my store bought cider to get the OG up to 1.060, add Nottingham yeast, only let if ferment for a couple days, let's say down to 1.010 or 1.020, then cold crash it. Would this result in a sweet cider that I can then keg and have my wife drink? pics of the wife (I married out of my league...hell sport)
