I don't like the idea of orange, nor black, so this color works. I may stencil my call sign on it in the future, but it works as-is. I noticed by mistake that the mic clips on the latch on the front almost perfectly. I'm still waiting on the Low Loss PowerGate, and Ed Fong roll up dipole to get here, but it's finished:

Quick, dirty, looks like it was made in a cave in Pashwar -- yep, it fits. I don't have fancy bumpers on the bottom, just some felt circles I had in a kitchen cabinet. 
I haven't cut up a piece to mount the MFJ 4115 and the battery yet, will update when that's done. There's room inside for a 25ft PL259 cable and a roll up jpole inside, to round out the package. |
