I havent online ordered from any of them. (Bought only once FTF- and that was HRO OR)

I just wanted to compile a list of the good online retailers.

Hamcity

Often very good prices on radios and antennas, quick shipping.

With the money saved on a typical order, I can choose 3-day shipping and often have my stuff before some of the other places I've shopped would have even put it in a box.

LG.

You are actually correct.

I saw the line, "Kansas City's Authorized Amateur Radio Dealer", and misread it as being in MO, when it was really not even saying that.

Now, should I update the first post with all these new links?

Sure, why not.  Everyone you need to know to buy a radio.  I think the guy at Associated's name is Don.  The guy at Memphis' name is Marshall.

Honest mistake, Infact you get major props for seeing "Kansas City" and assuming Missouri(Most of KC), rather than Kansas(Small portion), unlike 90% of America. and yea keep the links coming.

ETA:  This web page from The DX Zone claims to be an extensive list of Ham Radio-related "Shopping & Services."

I've personally done business with GigaParts in Huntsville, Alabama.  Bought my FT857 from there.

Also...done business with WB0W WB0W where I got my Little Tarheel Antenna from.

I've had great luck with both.  Great people to deal with and not to mention...Gigaparts does a free radio giveaway every so often.

I have bought from

Universal Radio
R&L
Ham Radio Outlet
Ham City (Jun's Electronics)
Gigaparts
Buxcomm
W4RT
www.Coaxman.com   (Clear Signal Products, great baluns, and good dealing with these guys on the phone and email!!!)

And have bought used via QRZ, eHam, and QTH.

And I have been happy with every one of these businesses, and the guys I did business with on the swap forums.

A few I want to call out... Buxcomm... one balun purchased from them for our club was bad.  I was not sure but contacted them.  They said send it back.  I did, they tested it, let me know it was defective, and immediately sent me another.

I'm usually leary of other people's cables, but I bought some jumpers from Ham City.  Their coax, PL-259's, and soldering were all top notch, as good as I could have done myself.  I've been making custom audio cables for about, oh... well, let's say more than 40 years.  I know how to solder.  They did as well as I could, and the price was great.

Ham Radio Outlet is where I got my amp.  It arrived quickly and very well packed, box in a box and all that, and well cushioned.

I've been buying from Universal Radio for some time, the place I check first for ham radio purchases, just as I did for SWL stuff before.  Always fast service and the orders were complete and well packed.

And the sales and purchases I have made via the swap forums above, all good deals.

I usually just go straight to Universal Radio.  If they don't have it, I probably don't need it.  Also, I seldom find an item that Universal carries much cheaper anywhere else.

I buy Powerpoles and various power plugs and harnesses from Powerwerx.
