Nra Hq Range

The only NRA-owned range, which is located in the basement of the NRA HQ building. Fifteen 50 yard positions with motorized targets. Rifle calibers up to .460 Weatherby Magnum and pistol calibers up to .500 S&W. Steel core ammunition and blackpowder firearms are prohibited. Shotguns may fire slugs only. Shooters must provide their own firearms. No rentals, but they do sell ammo, targets, and a small selection of other items. Lanes equipped with chair, rolling table, stapler, and a range of benchrest devices. Open to NRA members and the general public, but NRA members pay less per hour. Check calendar before visiting to ensure the range is not closed for a special event. NRA museum is upstairs and admission is free.
