Buy a universal MOLLE sheath, or get creative with some 550 cord.

Do they make one in tan/multicam that fits a 7' KaBar?

Lotta nice setups - only criticism is to make sure you can easily reach your med kit with either hand.

When it comes to knife sheaths, the Spec Ops is hard to beat.

PA: Thoroughly consider your desire to mount a large knife to your gear. I love knives and tried that route a long time ago. It was cumbersome, frequently in the way, and never got used. A multitool on the belt and a folding knife in my pants pocket will do everything I need sharp, pokey things to do.

I have the same Kabar only mine is the serrated version. If you have the leather sheath with the hole at the bottom you can always use the method I did. If you have a side cummerbund that is split down the middle with the hole for a quick-pull-cord (similar to the old IMTV cummerbunds) you can knot some 550 cord, run it through the sheath hole, run it through the QD hole and know it again, then all you have to do is adjust and maintain the appropriate angle in order to draw it.

Just a thought.

Love the Crye CPC, best PC I have ever owned. Glad I had the scratch to pick one up.

Just wished the plate bags were more flexible with fitting other aftermarket plates. I had some thick Lvl 3+ from Midwest that did not fit.
Thankfully was able  to snag some still in plastic SAPI's to put in.

Originally there wasn't Multicam patterned Velcro available, so they just used tan.  Once the patterned stuff became available, they switched to that.  So older production Multicam APCs will have tan velcro, newer will be patterned.

Mine is about 2 years old and is tan Velcro. I seem to recall I got it shortly before they switched.  Older models also didn't have the 1" strips of Velcro on the lower cummerbund's webbing to interface with direct mount panels/chest rigs, while newer production ones do.

Thanks for the response, I think I'll shoot him an e-mail.

Seems like an interesting design and something that might work well for me, though I'm guessing it probably won't fit MBAV soft armor.  How are you liking the Slickster?

Appreciate it - shot 'em an e-mail, as expected, no go on the MBAV soft armor, but it is what it is.

I'd be looking for the more "full service" PC, I wonder how the "feel" of the FCPC compares to the Slickster.
