What Surefire forend light do you have?
Do you like it?
Would you buy it again?

The Surefire is an older style. 618FA that i picked up here off of the EE forum. I installed an LED drop in That I got from BRIGHTFLASHLIGHTS.COM He is the only guy to deal with when it comes to flashlights and AR parts. I like the light we had them on our LEO shotguns when I was on the force.
So yes I would buy more if money allows

Mossberg 500, Remington 870 and Franchi 48/AL. all 12 gauge,  at the range today (pay no attention to the AR)

The Franchi is new to me, picked up at a pawn shop last week.

New to me 870 mutt with speedfeed stock and forearm, wingmaster receiver with some wear and express 18" barrel.

I'm planning on installing a vang comp safety, XS big dot bead sight, sling loops,  and streamlight TLR-1. I might duakote it as well because I plan on it spending time outside and I don't want to spend the $ on cerakote.

My S&D project all it needs is a pistol grip for carry. Started as a bare 500 receiver with parked mag tube I bought a old Montgomery ward 550 and gutted what was useful(mostly just internals)

newest 870. express with some extra wingmaster parts I had laying around (bolt, springs). I am leaving the polymer trigger group for now with the flex tab carrier.
This is my first non-extension sd gun, but I have an extra wilson +2 if I decide I need more on this one. I have a GG&G light mount on the way as well

My second Vepr 12, this one a side folder.  Liked the first one enough to buy another.  Red dot will change, otherwise I'm not going to mess with it much.

Here's the same Hawk 982 from my previous post just about done.  Still gotta figure out what I'm gonna run for a light but other than that she's done.

InTuneGp, with the Magpul Stock set, the Esstac Shot Shell Cards and the Mag Tube extension, you probably have more into the Upgrades, then the cost of the original Hawk 982.

But it does look really nice.  As far as a Light to add to it, I'd suggest looking at the EE, at "Lights & Laser's" & "Lights & Laser's - Used".  There are some pretty good deals popping up there.

Good Luck

Remington 11-87 Sportsman, originally purchased as a slug gun with a 21" fully rifled cantilever slug barrel. Every deer season this gun morphs back to it's original configuration with a Leupold 1-4X20 shotgun scope to kill Bambi...but during the off season it serves as my HD shotgun.

As it's pictured...18.5" Police barrel (fixed improved cylinder) with rifle sights, Mesa Tactical Stock and saddle mount/shell carrier, Aimpoint Micro, knobby bolt handle and GI sling. I'm waiting for a parkerized Remington OEM 2 shot magazine extension to become available for my final mod.

NY compliant. Fuck you Andy Cuomo.

Decked out like Elmer Fudd for deer season.

Nice shotgun. It reminds me of one I used to have.
Still, I have to ask, why is the second one left-handed?

Remington 870 Express Mag that I acquired about 8 years ago and didn't use.  The other day I pulled her out and threw on some ghost rings, did some action work, de-burred the receiver, new stock, sling, paint.  Shoots slugs well.  Lives in my truck now and getting a crap load of use.

Coregon

Jack Kiester Customs- a local smith here in VA. They do phenomenal work. They ported the barrel, opened up the forcing cones, and coated with Cerakote. Very reasonable and tons of experience. I like your gun... Reminds me of where we started. It's a heavy beast though!

My almost complete 870 Express Magnum, it started out as a hunting shotgun and I added the forend, Mesa stock, Scatter tech 2 round ext, Badger ordnance rail that had to be drilled and tapped since the standered 870 express doesn't come tapped from factory. I cant wait till my optic gets here. this is a deer use shotgun so it is rifled fully rifled and after huntingI will be putting on a regular tactical barrel for home use.
