Looking to purchase a shot timer.  Mostly used for personal training.  Have to be able to clip it to my belt and operate while attached to belt.  I've been looking at two different models; Competition Electronics Pocket Pro 2 timer and the Pact club shot timer 3.  Random delay would be nice and ability to set par time would also be helpful.  Also adjustable sensitivity seems like a good idea.  I mostly shoot outside but near enough to other shooters that the unit may pick up their shots.  Both these timers have folks loving them and hating them.  Kinda hard to tell if the product reviews are helpful at all.  Anyone out there with experience with either or both of these timers and have a recommendation?  Thanks guys.

I have the CED7000 & have been very happy with it.  Loud buzzer, good variety of modes & they're easy to navigate.  It's small & you can get a belt clip or wrist band to hold it in addition to the lanyard it comes with.  Display is easy to read & they make the silicone skins you can use to protect it, or make it pink, whatever works for you.  I've dropped mine a few times in the dirt with no problems.  I wasn't too keen on the non-removable battery but it does a very good job of holding a charge, even after a month or two of no use.  Using the timer doesn't drain the battery very quickly either.  Sensitivity can also be adjusted to the point that you can use it on Airsoft guns.  I don't have one so I haven't tested that, but it could be handy.

I went with the Pocket Pro II and love it. Adjustable sensitivity and shot dead time, backlit display, par time, random delay, adjustable display, fits the hand well, auto battery save, replacable battery(9v).
The only missing feature is shot recall. (make sure the scorekeeper calls back the time and writes it down)

I have a CED 6000 and a Pact MK4 and the Pocket Pro II beats them both for practice and matches.

I have used the Pact Clubtimer 3 but never got into the advanced features.

I have used the CED 7000, it's nice but I will not buy a timer without replaceable batteries.

I've had a pocket pro for about 10 years and it's been great

Thanks guys.  I really liked the Pocket Pro 2 specifications, but thought the Pact timer may be a little more ergonomic.  Kinda hard to tell since neither one posts exactly what size they are.  Thanks for all the input.  I'm going to try and see if the club is out on the range this weekend and get a closer look at what they use.  Leaning towards the Pocket Pro as of now.  Appreciate the feedback.
