| I remember long ago reading about using a primed .223 case and a .22 pellet for "plinking and vermin control" Has anyone done this? How would it shoot from a 1-8 twist service rifle? I have thought about doing this for offhand practice in the basement. Just want to put it out there and see if anyone else has done it before I buy pellets I don't need and can't use anywhere else. Thanks! |

I remember seeing some handgun ammo loaded with rubber bullets that were primer propelled. I have not seen anything for a rifle though. Neat idea.
With that being said, primers have a lead compound in them. I would not use them in the basement of my house. Airgun would be a much better option. B |
