We have an NRA Basic Pistol Course scheduled for Saturday, August 25th, 2012. We teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safely owning and shooting a pistol. This is a basic course and is designed to teach the fundamentals required to accurately shoot a pistol. Our Chief Instructor has 8 years of full-time experience as a sworn police officer and 15 years of experience in the military including military police and infantry. He served two tours for Operation Enduring Freedom and spent his last three years active duty training infantry soldiers for deployment to Afghanistan for Infantry combat operations.
He competed in Police Pistol Competition and is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. He is also an NRA Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor for pistol. He is an NRA Business Alliance member, an individual NRA member, a member of the Association of Training Officers of Minnesota, and a member of the Iowa Firearms Coalition. He has also been a member of the Iowa Police Combat League, United States Practical Shooting Association, Enlisted Association of the National Guard United States, and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
