I know it is no big deal for you guys, but on wednesday, I got my first 100 and it was huge for me. Prone 100 yards on a SR-1 reduced target. Don't have a coat yet, so was just shooting my RRA NM A4 in a t-shirt and web sling. This is my 12th prone string ever shot. Loving this sport!

Also just found a local range that allows 300/600 yard practice, so I have no excuse not to practice now!

Here is the target, one double hole in the 10 ring, six 'o clock. 100-4X. Hornandy 75 match ammo (CMP). Forgive the masking tape pasters from the previous string.

Good shooting! Keep practicing and the group will tighten up even more. Were you shooting irons, dot, or glass?

Service rifle irons, specifically rock river national match sights that come on the Rock River National Match A4 carry handle. Still learning/practicing the basics (sling/sight alignment/trigger control/proper positions, etc.). It is very satisfying, because I keep on gradually improving.

Feels good, don't it?
Wait till you can do that w/20 rds at 300 yds, and you will.
Keep it up, and remember, keep dryfiring, and concentrate on the front sight.

Happiness is a perfect score! Congratulations! As a side note, highpower builds fabulous fundamentals that carry over into the rest of your shooting.

You'll save a lot of money on targets if you color in the masking tape with black marker. We have targets with THOUSANDS of shots on them!

Congratulations. Like a few other "firsts", you will always remember your first "clean" target.
Well done.
